About ADS
Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) is Singapore's national body for keeping sport clean and doping-free.

Mission
Our mission is to protect athletes and uphold Clean Sport through effective education, deterrence, detection and collaboration.
Vision
We aim to achieve Fair and Clean Sport for All.
Our Early Beginnings
The Government of Singapore had been involved in the early years of the international anti-doping movement. Singapore became a signatory to the Copenhagen Declaration on Anti-Doping in Sport in 2003 organised by the World Anti Doping Agency (WADA). Singapore had also adopted the UNESCO International Convention Against Doping in Sport in 2005 by accession, thereby formally recognising Singapore's commitment to implement the World Anti-Doping Code (opens in new tab) ("WAD Code").
Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) was established in March 2010, and designated by the Government of Singapore as the National Anti-Doping Organization (NADO) to promote and support the eradication of doping in sport in Singapore.
Our Responsibilities
Our primary responsibilities are to:
(a) Plan, coordinate and implement an effective doping control programme;
(b) Advocate doping-free sport in Singapore through education programmes;
(c) Monitor National Sports Associations for their compliance with the Anti-Doping Policy of Singapore, the ADS Anti-Doping Rules, and the World Anti-Doping Code;
(d) Pursue all potential anti-doping rule violations within its jurisdiction;
(e) Encourage reciprocal testing between national anti-doping organisations; and
(f) Promote anti-doping research.
Governance
The work of Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) is governed by the Anti-Doping Policy of Singapore and the Anti-Doping Rules that are established in accordance with the World Anti-Doping Code (opens in new tab) and its International Standards (opens in new tab).
The Code provides a framework for the harmonisation of anti-doping policies, rules and regulations across all sports and countries in the world.
