About Education
An athlete's first experience with Anti-Doping should always be through education.

Education
To achieve its vision of "Fair and Clean Sport for All", one of the key strategies of Anti-Doping Singapore (ADS) is through Clean Sport Education.
It is through our education programmes that ADS aims to:
Promote clean sport behaviour that positively influence athletes' beliefs, attitudes and behaviour toward doping in sport; and
Create a generation of athletes and athlete support personnel who understand the values of competing fairly and cleanly.
Our Education Framework

Who is Education for?

Clean Sport Education
ADS is guided by the belief that enduring clean sport education must go beyond the subjects of anti-doping information. Education should shape values, strengthen judgement, build confidence in decision-making, and support responsible behaviour across Athlete's sporting journey.
To protect the spirit of sport from being undermined by doping, ADS aims to educate and enable learners to know how to recognise risks, seek help and make responsible choices.
Values Based Education
Values Based Education focuses on the "why." It aims to help individuals develop a strong ethical foundation, build character, and establish a personal commitment to behave ethically.
Key values include Fairness, Accountability, Integrity and Respect

Education Strands

Strand B: Anti-Doping Education

This covers more technical aspects such as rules, testing, the principle of strict liability, medications, supplements, TUEs, whereabouts requirements and major games preparation.
Strand C: Clean Sport Advocacy
Clean Sport Advocacy focuses on developing role models , mentors and advocates who can promote clean sport values and influence others within the sportin community positively
Together, these 3 strands provide a bridge from instilling values in younger athletes to anti-doping competencies and clean sport advocacy.
It is the responsibility of everyone in the sporting ecosystem to establish an environment which encourages clean sport behaviour and conduct. ADS will work with other government branches, NSAs and Athletes to coordinate efforts in anti-doping information and education.
